Today I had a pre-bridal session with S. I was very happy that we had a break in the weather to walk down the street. I love doing sessions at my studio because I am always coming up with ideas as I walk to work.

This wedding was so special to me.

Many of you know my staff photographer Kim Charpentier. On Saturday She tied the knot and I was the photographer.  She worked my butt off!! She was into every pose, every location, and truly enjoyed her day.

It is official start of wedding season. I’m very excited for my weddings this year.

We had a great time with the groom’s hat.

I also been photographing a lot of tweens portfolios lately.

I love this girls red hair.  I saw her hair and brought out this dress.  She was not a fan but her mother and I talked her into it.

I was so happy to see the these flowers come out with N. and M. Engagement session.

It is a sign of spring and outdoor sessions which I have been itching for.

I find kids really need to take a break during photo sessions. To jump and be funny for the camera. I love these break photos. It is the most natural and fun expressions I get.

I know spring is in the air because I’ve been photographing babies.  I had two newborn home shoots in the past week. One thing I love shooting during a  home session the nursery.   We don’t realize how much effort went in to it until a few years later when crayon is on the wall, milk has stained the rug, and  clothes and toys have taken over. I love photographing the details that we might forget in time.

It was so great to see the Smith Hill St. Patrick’s day Parade.  It is a true sign that spring is coming.

Last Sunday PPU photographed a Mother’s Day promotional image.  Can anyone guess who the models are?

One of my favorite families came in this week. I love this angle of Daddy’s little girl.

This  was a very busy week.

Providencepinup.com’s Jason Andrade was voted one of Providence Monthly’s most eligible bachelor.  Lulu, Ivan, and I went to support him at the PM Party at the Hotel Providence.

It was great to see Everything Events coordinating the speed dating. We had a lot of laughs.

H2F is a pin-up/rockabilly boutique in Pawtucket, RI.   On the 13th they had an event with bands in their building.  I have not had photographed music in so long – it brought back a lot of memories.
