New Site

Hello,

You have probably stumbled on to this blog that you may think that the photographer has been quiet for months or a year. Maybe it is not in business anymore? Oh no! There is just a new site. I have semi retired (Only up to 5 weddings a year rather than 45) from weddings/family portraiture and moved focus of the studio into Vintage Glamour Photography. Once I started this style I realized my true calling. You can see my new adventures and photography on my new site Vintage Girl Studios.

We have had such a busy 2014 and are So excited for 2015. We announced on January 1st the Lovely Thespian Kristyn Youngblood as our 2015 Website Cover model. We connected to Kristyn through The New England Shakeup ’s Cherry Dollface/ Bomber Betty sessions. We look forward to working with her again this year!

Four Creative Bussiness Ladies

Last Month I had the pleasure of working with three other lady creative small business owners. We all met through social media. I had been following their work for a while and was so excited to work with these passionate women.

MayMac Design Studios

MayMac creates pinup lingerie, corsets, & burlesque inspired costumes to celebrate women of all shapes and sizes. The company was founded on the idea that curves are power, color is key, and that there is no such thing as too much glitter. Designer Katey Cusack began MayMac in honor of her grandmother Eunice May Macfadden, who always dreamed of being a designer and would name her line after herself. The inspiration behind the designs have always been femininity, glitter, eye catching colors, and unnatural waist lines. Kristin Haddad is a freelance artist with a variety of skills and creative styles. She studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and obtained her degree in Illustration and Design. Kristin specializes in many different mediums including the dying art of Gold Leaf, as well as intricate painted murals on glass, photograph restoration, and digital illustrations. She also takes pride in traditional paintings and drawings, and has been featured in several galleries throughout Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

Summer Sessions!!!

Yay! Summer is here!!!! We are still open as we renovate landscape of our property. By summer 2015 we will be complete with Vintage Patio, pool, and tented cabana sets. We are still shooting in the studio and on the property this year regardless.

We have photographed hundreds of women over the past six years in the Vintage Pin-up style. We have decided to have a contest for our past clients.
Submit your favorite VGS/KHP image from your session to VintageGirlStudios@gmail.com
We will be picking eight finalist images that will be Re-enhanced/Vintage AD to showcased album on our Facebook page for one week.

Image that with the most likes after 5 days will be the winner of a 11×14 gallery wrap of their image.
